Authorize.net

This Plugin enables you to receive payments via Authorize.Net Payment Gateway.

Requirements

  • PHP version 5.x
  • Joomla 3.x
  • Axisubs Beta or higher.

Installation

  • Download the Authorize.net payment plugin and install it using Joomla installer.
  • After installing plugin, in Joomla backend Go to Axisubs > Setup > Payments
  • Click Enable to activate the plugin.
  • Click on Open to configure the basic settings of the Authorize.net payment plugin.

Basic Settings

Payment Option title

Enter a name that will be shown in the payment methods selection during billing process.

Plugin Display Image

This image will be displayed while payment options are listed in the Billing process.

Merchant login id

Enter the valid merchant login ID associated with your Authorize.net account.

Merchant transaction key

Enter the valid Transaction key provided by the authorize.net

Sandbox

Authorize.net offers a testing suite called Sandbox. Choose YES to enable the sandboz feature. Before going live, it is advised to test your store using the sandbox feature.

Sandbox login id

Enter your valid sandbox login ID provided by Authorize.net.

Sandbox transaction key

Enter your valid transaction key provided by the sandbox.

Debug

Choose YES to enable the debug mode. If you set this to yes, then debug messages will be logged and saved in the cache folder in your Joomla root directory. DO NOT select YES in the live site.

MD5 Hash

This is an additional security feature of Authorize.net which allows you to authenticate transaction responses from the payment gateway.

How to generate MD5-Hash?

  • Open the authorize.net and login into the site.
  • After logging in, click on Settings under account tab.

  • Now in the resulted page, click on MD5-Hash under General Security Settings tab.

  • Now enter your new hash value and confirm the hash value and click on Submit button.

Silent Post URL-Authorize.net

This feature allows you to specify a URL, or Web address, to which the payment gateway should copy the transaction response that is sent to the configured Relay Response URL.

To add or edit a silent post URL:

  • Open the authorize.net and login into the site.
  • After logging in, click on Settings under account tab.
  • Now in the resulted page, click on Silent Post URL under Transaction Format Settings.

Step 1: In the URL text field, enter the URL to which the payment gateway should copy the transaction relay response. This URL must start with either http:// or https://.

Step 2: Click Submit. A confirmation message indicates that the URL has been added.
