1. Buy One Get One (BOGO Deal of same product)

Step-1: General tab

On the general tab, you will have to give your rule details like Rule order, Rule priority, Rule description. After that choose the Discount method "Quantity based by product/category and BOGO deals".

 Step-2: Condition tab 

 After filling discount rule details, navigate to condition tab and define your discount conditions.

Now move to Discount tab and set the discount quantity range and select your discount product.

2.  Storewide Global discount for all products

Step-1: General tab
Now you are on general tab where you could give basic details about your discount rules.

Step-2:  Condition tab 

On condition tab, define your discount condition and click next. In our case, we wants the discount to be applied all products so choose All products to "Apply To" option.

Now you are on discount tab where you could set the quantity range and discount type for your discount rule.

3. Product Dependant Discount - Buy Product A , Get Product B at 50% off

Step-1 : General tab

In this case, you  will have to choose "Dependent product based discount" as discount method.

Step-2: Condition tab
 
In this example,  we are going to offer 50% discount for headphone if you buy Laptop. So choose,
Product(s) from - Laptop
get discount in - Headphone

Step-3: Discount tab
 
Enter the discount value 50 in percentage and save the rule.

4. Buy 5 quantities of same product and get 10% discount

Step-1 : General tab

In this example, the store owner wants to give 10% discount for all products in his store. So choose,

"Method = Quantity Based"

Click Next.

Step-2:  Condition tab 

Now on condition tab, choose All products to "Apply to" and click Next.

Define your quantity range and discount value in discount tab
Min quantity - 1
Max quantity - 5
Adjustment type- Percentage Discount
Value - 10

5. Category Specific Discount

Step-1 : General tab 

In this example, you will be knowing how to apply discount for specific category.  On general tab give the order number, Rule name, Rule description and then choose
Method = Quantity based by product/category and BOGO deals

Step-2: Condition tab 

On condition tab, choose
Apply to = Specific categories and choose the category to which you wants to apply the discount. For example, we choose "Apparels"
Check the box "Apply child categories", if you would like to include the sub-categories of Apparels.
Click Next.

Step-3: Discount tab 

Define the quantity range and give the discount value 10.
Min quantity - 1
Max quantity - 99
Adjustment type - Percentage discount
Value - 10

6. Buy 1 get 2 Product free

Step-1: General tab
Give the  basic details for your discount rule and choose "Quantity Based" as your discount method.

Step-2: Condition tab
 
In the condition tab, choose
Apply To = Specific products and then select the product for which the discount should be applicable. 

For example, select Laptop.

Step-3: Discount tab

Set the discount range and value like below:
Min-Quantity = 1
Max quantity = 999
Adjustment type = Product discount
Value = Select any two products (that needs to be discounted)

Save.

7.  Product Variant specific discounts

Step-1: General tab

It is also possible to apply discounts on variants. Create a price rule and give basic details for your discount rule and choose discount method as "Quantity based by product/category and BOGO deals" .

Step-2 : Condition tab

On condition tab, choose
Apply To = Choose specific products and select the variant(s)

Click Next.

Step-3: Discount tab

Set the quantity range, discount type and value.
Min quantity - 1
Max quantity - 99
Adjustment type - Percentage discount
Value - 50

Save.

8. Buy one Get one free for Variant Product

Lets give product's particular variant free if buy any one product or one variant. For example, if customers buy Small size Tee, then they will get Small size shorts free.

Step-1 : General tab 

Specify the basic details of your discount rule and click next.
Choose Method = Quantity based by product/category and BOGO deals


Step-2 : Condition tab

Now you are on condition tab where select Specific condition and choose the variant. For example we have chosen Small size Tshirt.


Step-3 : Discount tab

Define the quantity range and choose the product or variant that considered to be a free product.

Min quantity - 1
Max quantity - 10
Adjustment type - Product discount
Apply for - Choose All selected and then select the variant from the dropdown list. For example, we selected small size shorts (short - small).

9. Product specific discount

In this scenario, the store admin offers discount 15% for the product Adidas shoe for 10 days. 

Step-1:  General tab
Since the offers is going to be available for only 10 days,  you will have to mention the validity date here

For example,
Validity =  12/12/2017 - 12/22/2017

Step-2 : Condition tab

 Choose the product to which you wants to offer a discount and click Next.

Step-3 : Discount tab

Set the quantity range, discount type and value and click save rule.

10. Discount for multiple categories

The scenario is that store owner is going to offer a discount 30% for category A and category B.

For example, the discount should be applied for the products from categories Electronics and  Home decor.

Step-1 : General tab

Step-2 : Condition tab

On condition tab, you could choose the multiple categories. Choose the categories (Electronics and Home decor) and click next.

Step-3 : Discount tab

Define the quantity range, choose the discount type and set the discount value and save the rule.

11. Buy 3 quantities of certain product and get discount

In this scenario, the store owner offers a discount $10 for the product "MIrror" if customer buys  quantities 3 from the product Clock.

Step-1 : General tab

Since the product gets discount based on the purchase of another product, the discount method you will have to choose should be Dependent product based discount.

Step-2 : Condition tab

Set the discount conditions like

Buy = Any - Equal - 3
Product(s) from = Clock
Get discount in = Mirror

Step-3 : Discount tab

Set the discount value $10 for the product Mirror.

12. Buy 2 quantities of A, 2 quantities of B and get discount in C

Consider there are three products in your store A, B and C. C gets a discount only if customer buys 2 from product A and 2 from Product B.

Step-1 : General tab

Give the basic details of your discount rule and choose Dependent product based discount as your discount method. 

Step-2 : Condition tab

The following each product should have quantity 2 to get discount 30% for Product C = Mugs.
Product A = Clock
Product B = Mirror

So the condition should be like

Buy = Each - Equal - 2
Product(s)  from = Clock, Mirror
Get discount in = Mugs

Step-3 : Discount tab

Choose discount type - Percent and set the discount value - 30
Save the rule.
