#### How to set global loyalty points on your store ?

## Earn Points For Purchase Action:

Set how many points can be earned based on the amount spent on the purchase

**How many points customer can earn when they purchase ?**

Each $amount spent gets a specific points on your store.

For example, if you want customers to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, enter 1 and 1. This can be modified at the category level, or on a per-product/variation level.

**Rounding Mode for points earned:**

So, if a user spends 10.50$ on a product specify how the points has to be rounded to the nearest integer value.

Always round down : will make the point to 10 points.

Always round up: will make the point to 11 points.

**Tax Setting:**

Choose whether the points calculation from the products includes or exclude tax for it.

**Points Label:**

Set a label in order to display the points on your store.

Example: Points or Loyalty Score.

**Points Expire After (zero for unlimited validity):**

You can set a Expiry within a specific days after the points are earned from the store.

Or you can enter 0 for unlimited validity of the points earned.

Example: If the expiry set as after 60 days.

The points earned by the user will expiry after 60days after that user might not be able to redeem the earned points.

So, the points earned must be redeemed within 60days of the purchase.

How the points shown in the cart:

## Redemption Settings:

The earned points will be applied to the account of the user after the order is Completed.

Let us see, how the points can be redeemed as a discount and how to set the same.

**Conversion Rate for redeeming points:**

You can set how the user can convert the points into discounts on their Next purchase.

For Example:

If user redeems 100 points to get a discount of $10 on their next purchase.

**Label for Redeemed Points:**This label will be shown in the cart once the user redeemed points for a discount.

Example:

Points Discount : -$18.50

**Partial Redemption:**You can check the Checkbox for partial redemption were user can make a choice of how many points he want to redeem on the current order.

**Minimum discount amount for redemption:**You can set a minimum discount value that should be applied while redeeming the points while user chooses make his choice on redemption.

**Maximum discount amount for redemption:**In each order of the users set a maximum discount amount which can be availed.

For Example:

100 fixed Or 10 percentage of his points.

So, you are all set now.

Here is how the discount will be displayed after the redemption.

Here you can manage all the displays in the front-end while displaying the points in product pages and cart/checkout pages.

#### Specific Product Loyalty Points Set up:

If you want to provide a Specific product an higher value of Loyalty Point, then you can set the points in the product configuration which will override the global settings for that specific product alone.

Set how many points can a user earn when they purchase a Specific product A based on the amount spent on that specific product.

For Example: 100 points can be earned when spending $10

Each 10$ spend for the Product A will get 100 points.

As the product price is 95$ when one quantity is added to the cart -> for each 10$ 100 points will be added.

So, 950 points will be added when Product A is in cart.

You can also set up a maximum discount value for any products while redeeming the points.

While the user tries to redeem his earned points on his Next purchase, you can limit the maximum discounts for a specific products should be applied in cart using this option.

#### Category based Loyalty Points:

You can also set up the Loyalty points for a specific category from Products -> Categories.

In the same way, you can be able to set Loyalty points for each of the Categories separately.

Points will be added based on each of the products price.

When 10 points can be earned for spending 50$ on each of the product from the category.

For Example: When a Product A price is 200$ and one quantity is added to the cart.

Each 50$ of the product gets 10 points.

So, totally 40 points will be added if Product A is purchased.

Similarly you can also set up the maximum discount for each of the product from the Category A.
