NOTE: We strongly recommend to use this in a staging or development environment for optimal results.
To make the process smoother, here are some simple steps you can follow:
1. It's Quick and Simple:
Begin by downloading the pack (zip file) from the provided link.
Then, easily install the pack by navigating to the Plugins section.
Next, simply click on the Add New button.
The page will refresh and you will now see the option to "Upload Plugin". Just click on this button to effortlessly upload the downloaded file.
Select the downloaded zip file by clicking on the "Browse" button.
Finally, click on the "Install Now" button to complete the installation process.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed the Discount Rules for Woocommerce Beta V3 plugin. Now, all that's left is to activate it.
Once you have successfully activated the plugin, you are all set to begin your migration process.
2. Don't worry, it is very convenient:
To access Woocommerce's Discount Rules, simply navigate to the Woocommerce tab and select the Discount Rules option.
Next, kindly locate the button labeled "Switch to 3.0 Beta" and give it a click.
This will take you to the brand new V3 Beta version of Discount rules with its exciting UI.
Don't hesitate to take a peek and see for yourself!
3. Easily switch back to V2 at any time:
Please don't worry, we want to make sure you feel comfortable using our platform. If you ever feel the need, you can easily switch back to V2 (2.6.4) at any time.
To do so, click on "Switch Back to V2" as shown below:
4. Migrating rules and other settings from V2:
If you have any existing rules on V2 that you would like to bring over to V3 Beta, simply click on the "Import Rules" button and follow the prompts.
Alternatively, if you're ready to dive into V3 and start creating new rules, just click on the "Add new rule" button and explore all the exciting features it has to offer.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that we do not recommend using Discount Rules Beta V3.0.0 on a live site as it is still in beta. We want to ensure that you have the best experience possible, so we suggest using it on a testing or staging site.
